Event Strategy During the Event

Keynote Strategy During the Event
This is an excellent event strategy. If I am using video or playing an instrument, a sound check is essential. I have a background in sound engineering and spent my early years running live events, so the AV team has a special place in my heart. I work closely with them to make sure everything is set, clear, and ready long before the audience arrives.
My focus during the event is simple: deliver the absolute best experience for your audience. Live events are unpredictable, and I’ve been on stage through every AV catastrophe imaginable. I stay calm, adapt quickly, and navigate unexpected changes with grace. Nothing flusters me, and I’m fully committed to making the event flow smoothly for you and your team.
Before I go on stage, having a quiet space to get centered and into the right frame of mind is extremely helpful. It allows me to be fully present and bring the energy, clarity, and focus your audience deserves.
As for the experience itself, my goal is to activate the audience—to make the content come alive, create insight, and move them forward. I use story, humor, and strong visual tools to teach practical, memorable concepts that people can apply immediately and continue sharing long after the event.
Meeting planners often want a speaker who:
- Is prepared and easy to work with
- Respects the schedule
- Supports the AV team
- Handles challenges without drama
- Engages the audience and delivers real value
- Makes the planner look good
That is exactly how I show up.
